INSTRUCTORS

Ustadha Fatima Lette

Ustadha Fatima Lette is the Associate Director of Academy at Qalam. She is a faculty member at the Qalam Seminary and a regular instructor at Qalam Intensives.

Ustadha Fatima graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.A. in Psychology and later completed the ʿĀlimiyyah program at the Qalam Seminary. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, she continues to serve her community through teaching and educational initiatives.

Ustadha Khadeejah Bari

Ustadha Khadeejah Bari is a graduate of Qalam Seminary’s Alimiyyah program, which she completed in 2020. She is an instructor at Qalam and Qalam Academy.

Ustadha Khadeejah also serves as an instructor and guide for Hajj and Umrah and leads sisters’ trips through Qalam’s Sisters’ Suhbah retreats.

Getting There:

Arrival – Nov. 5th

  • For those arriving Nov. 5th at PHX Airport, the meeting time is approximately 3:30 PM with a 4:00 PM departure.

  • For those arriving Nov. 5th at FLG Airport, the meeting time is 5:00 PM with a 5:30 PM departure.


Departure – Nov. 8th

  • For those departing from FLG Airport, transportation will depart the venue at 11:00 AM. Please book flights departing no earlier than 1:00 PM to allow sufficient time for transportation to the airport and check-in.

  • For those departing from PHX Airport, transportation will depart the venue at 11:00 AM. Please book flights departing no earlier than 4:00 PM to allow sufficient time for the drive to Phoenix Airport and check-in.



The exact meeting location and transportation details for both arrival and departure will be shared closer to the arrival/departure dates for those registered.

Day 1: Arrival & Welcome

  • Opening session to set intentions

  • Get-to-know-each-other activities

Day 2: Explore & Reflect

  • Qur'an reading

  • Guided hike

  • Daily reflection session

  • Craft activity and evening reflection

Day 3: Adventure & Wonder

  • Adventure course

  • Daily reflection session

  • Stargazing

Final Day: Closing & Departure

  • Closing reflections and du'a

  • Check-out and departures

  • Airport drop-offs
