Frequently Asked Questions 

1. When should I plan to arrive for Seerah Intensive?

  • We advise you to arrive before 1:30 PM on Friday, December 22, 2023 to join us for Jummuah.
  • The hotel is available for checkin starting the afternoon of Thursday, December 21, 2023.
  • Orientation and classes will begin right after Jummuah (2:00 PM).
  • Airport shuttle will be provided upon request only for the Accomodations Package.

2. When should I plan to depart from Seerah Intensive?

  • The hotel is available for checkout starting the afternoon of Sunday, December 31, 2023. Any days after are the responsibility of the attendees.
  • Closing ceremony will be held on Sunday, and will end with Dhuhr and lunch. We will wrap up by 4:00pm, insha'Allah.
  • Airport shuttle will be provided upon request only for the Accomodations Package.

3. What supplies do I need to bring with me?

  • We will provide you with a textbook, pen, tote, and a water bottle, T-shirt and sticker.
  • Have access to Teachable for homework assignments (laptop, tablet, et cetera).
  • Please bring a method of notetaking. Wi-Fi and outlets are available.

4. Is there an age limit?

  • Seerah Intensive is only available for ages 14+. Anyone below 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
  • Babysitting is not provided.
  • Seerah for Kids is open to kids 5-13 years of age. In-person students will be spilt into two groups by age (5-9 and 10-13). Online students will be in one main class and split into age-appropriate breakout sessions. For a parent not attending Seerah Intensive, please ensure that you coordinate pick up and drop off for your child. A child enrolled in Seerah for Kids cannot stay at the hotel without a parent or guardian.

5. Are there any prerequisites?

  • None! There is no requirement to have taken a previous seerah course or to know Arabic.

6. Can I come online and in-person?

  • All recordings and class materials will be provided for lifetime access when choosing both options.
  • Additionally, due to the nature of this course, we recommend all students register separately so that they are able to participate in live questions on their own personal devices, revisit the course at their own pace, and track progress under their own account.

7. What is the daily schedule?

  • Classes for both programs are daily, including weekends.
  • Sessions for Seerah Intensive will begin at 8:00 AM and last until 5:15 PM, with adjustments made for Jumuʿah, Orientation, and Closing Ceremony.
  • Orientation will begin after Jumuʿah (2:00PM) on Friday, December 22, 2023.
  • The Jummuah on December 29, 2023, classes will begin after 2:00PM and last until Isha prayer.
  • Sessions for Seerah for Kids Online will begin at 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Central.
  • All timings are listed in Central Time. If you are an online student, live attendance is not required, and you may tune in on your own time and at your own pace.

8. Will I randomly be assigned a roommate if I select the accomodations package?

  • Yes.
  • However, the team will send roommate request forms before your arrival.

9. Can I attend the program in a hybrid format?

  • Yes!
  • When registering for the Tuition Only or Accomodations packages, you automatically receive lifetime online access.
